The Products

AeroPress, Inc. has launched two products under a new Walnut Collection — the AeroPress Premium Walnut Brewer and the AeroPress Walnut Manual Grinder — each priced at $249.95 USD ($319.95 CAD). Both went on sale September 28 through AeroPress.com and Williams-Sonoma.com, positioning the brand squarely in the premium gifting channel ahead of the holiday season.

The brewer extends the company's existing Premium Collection, which the company says routinely sells out between inventory cycles. It retains the hand-crafted double-wall borosilicate glass, 304 stainless steel, and aluminum construction of its predecessors, adding a solid clear-grade walnut plunger, flange, scoop, and stirrer. The grinder, a more technically ambitious addition, features Italian-made titanium-coated 38mm conical burrs, more than 60 defined grind settings, a 25-gram capacity, a lifetime burr warranty, and a patent-pending Easy-Grind system with dual bearings. A removable magnetic handle stores inside the AeroPress brewer itself — a first-of-its-kind integration that compresses the overall footprint of a paired grind-and-brew setup.

Market Positioning

The launch arrives as the specialty at-home coffee equipment segment continues to attract consumers willing to pay a premium for hardware that doubles as kitchen décor. AeroPress CEO Gerard Meyer framed the Walnut Collection explicitly around countertop visibility: "Instead of something you tuck away in the cabinet, the AeroPress Premium Walnut and Walnut Manual Grinder are designed to be proudly displayed on one's countertop, to make a statement and serve as a centerpiece for coffee lovers."

AeroPress CMO David Cole tied the timing to holiday commerce. "With the holiday gifting season around the corner, the new Walnut Collection allows us to offer an even broader range of options for coffee enthusiasts," Cole said, noting that the line sits alongside the brand's existing glass-and-metal Premium Silver, Black, and White colorways and all-metal manual grinder for buyers at different price and aesthetic points.

The Williams-Sonoma retail partnership is a meaningful distribution signal. The housewares chain anchors the premium specialty-kitchen channel and gives AeroPress physical and digital shelf presence alongside competitors in the $150-and-up manual brewer segment — territory contested by brands including Fellow, Comandante, and Hario. For operators and specialty retailers tracking consumer hardware trends, the move reflects broader momentum in the premium coffee equipment category as consumers who built at-home brewing habits during the pandemic continue to trade up on gear.

Brand Footprint

AeroPress reports more than 75,000 five-star reviews across its product line and a commercial presence in more than 70 countries, underscored by its sponsorship of the World AeroPress Championship, which it describes as the largest filtered coffee competition globally. That community flywheel has historically driven repeat hardware purchases and accessory attachment — a dynamic the Walnut Collection is engineered to extend by giving existing owners a visually distinct reason to upgrade. For specialty coffee and beverage retailers evaluating seasonal buy plans, the $249.95 price point places the collection at the upper end of impulse-gift territory while remaining below the threshold of most professional-grade espresso equipment.
