Sales execution software provider Andavi Solutions has acquired Infilect, a Bengaluru-based AI technology company, in a move that grafts computer-vision and agentic AI capabilities onto Andavi's existing platform for beverage and consumer packaged goods companies. Terms were not disclosed.

What Infilect Brings

Infilect's core product analyzes photos and videos captured at retail shelves, displays, menus, and backbars to identify individual SKUs, facings, pricing, out-of-stocks, share of shelf, and competitor activity. That data stream — previously accessible only through manual audits or static field reports — can now feed directly into Andavi's sales execution workflows. The combined system is designed to surface next-best actions to field representatives in near real time, while giving sales management a consolidated view of execution gaps and merchandising opportunities across accounts.

The acquisition reflects a broader shift in the beverage and CPG sector toward AI-augmented field execution. Consumer goods companies have long struggled to convert raw shelf data into timely decisions; image-recognition platforms have accelerated that cycle by reducing dependence on manual surveys, which are costly, inconsistent, and inherently backward-looking. Agentic AI — systems capable of initiating actions rather than merely surfacing insights — represents the next layer, automating follow-through rather than leaving it to individual reps.

Integration Already Underway

Andavi said the two companies have already begun integrating their technology stacks, with combined solutions currently in production with beverage alcohol customers. That live deployment is a meaningful signal for prospective buyers evaluating platforms for route-to-market and trade promotion management, since it moves the deal beyond speculative roadmap territory.

Infilect will retain its existing product lineup, team, customer relationships, and service commitments under the Andavi umbrella. The Bengaluru engineering base also gives Andavi expanded development capacity in a market that has become a significant hub for AI and computer-vision talent serving global CPG clients.

"This acquisition advances our strategy to build a more intelligent sales execution platform," said Nina Vellayan, Chief Executive Officer of Andavi Solutions. "Infilect gives our customers better visibility into what is happening in the market and helps turn those insights into action."

Anand Prabhu Subramanian, co-founder and CEO of Infilect, framed the deal as a scale opportunity: the Andavi platform extends Infilect's commercial reach across a larger installed base of beverage and CPG customers than the startup could address independently.

For food and beverage operators and their retail partners, the practical implication is a tighter feedback loop between field activity and commercial outcomes — a capability gap that has persisted across the industry even as digital transformation investment in foodservice and retail has accelerated. Platforms that combine route-to-market automation with real-time shelf intelligence are increasingly positioned as infrastructure rather than point solutions, particularly for mid-to-large beverage alcohol suppliers managing complex, multi-tier distribution networks.
