CJ Foods is deploying its bibigo brand across a five-day experiential marketing push at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson 2026, using the PGA Tour tournament as a live consumer-acquisition platform for Korean packaged foods in the United States.

The activation, running May 20–24 at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, operates under the campaign tagline "Unlock Korean Flavor, Unpack bibigo." On-site executions include an interactive brand booth, curated concessions embedded within the tournament's food-and-beverage corridor, and chef-led collaborations designed to introduce attendees to Korean culinary formats beyond the brand's core frozen-food portfolio.

The move is consistent with a broader industry pattern in which packaged-food manufacturers are redirecting portions of trade-promotion budgets toward high-footfall live events, particularly in sports, as traditional retail sampling yields diminishing returns. PGA Tour galleries skew toward affluent, food-curious demographics that index highly for premium and ethnic cuisine adoption — a profile closely aligned with bibigo's target consumer in the U.S. market. CJ Foods has previously used title sponsorship of the tournament to build brand salience; embedding product trial activations deepens that investment beyond logo placement. Bibigo is positioned by CJ Foods as the No. 1 Korean food brand in the U.S., a designation that reflects retail dollar share across categories including dumplings, sauces, and frozen rice. The brand has been central to CJ Foods' ambition to build a globally recognized Korean food platform, with the U.S. representing its largest non-domestic revenue opportunity. The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, where TPC Craig Ranch is located, is one of the fastest-growing major metro markets in the country, adding strategic weight to the geographic choice of activation.

No financial terms for the activation or revised guidance were disclosed in connection with the announcement. CJ Foods has not provided updated U.S. revenue figures for bibigo alongside this release.
