The Product

StoreBound's Dash brand has entered the cordless small-appliance segment with a four-SKU lineup priced uniformly at $79.99 each, targeting home cooks who prioritize portability over outlet proximity. The Cordless Collection — comprising a Mini Chopper, Immersion Blender, Hand Mixer, and Personal Blender — is available immediately on ByDash.com and Amazon, with a full-bundle option at $299.99 that includes all four tools and a charger.

The Numbers

The $299.99 bundle represents a $19.97 discount versus buying all four units individually at $79.99 apiece. A key engineering decision underpins the commercial proposition: every appliance shares a single rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, included with each purchase, allowing consumers to swap power between devices without buying separate batteries. Additional chargers are available separately. The Hand Mixer is rated for up to 37 minutes of continuous run time per charge; the Personal Blender processes 17-ounce batches. No sell-in volumes or retailer distribution counts were disclosed at launch.

Why It Matters

The cordless small-appliance category has gained traction as battery technology costs have fallen and kitchen counter space has become a consumer pain point, particularly in urban and smaller-format living environments. By standardising on one battery platform across four SKUs, Dash is borrowing a strategy that power-tool manufacturers — most notably Milwaukee Tool and DeWalt — have used to drive repeat purchases and reduce consumer switching costs. For foodservice and specialty retail buyers, the shared-battery architecture also simplifies inventory planning, since one SKU of battery packs services the full range.

StoreBound CEO Evan Dash framed the launch around shifting use occasions, citing dormitory blending, tailgate food preparation, and outdoor entertaining as target scenarios. "Freedom like that really changes how you cook," he said. Those use cases align with a broader consumer trend toward outdoor and portable food preparation, a segment that saw accelerated investment from housewares brands following shifts in at-home eating patterns in the early 2020s.

What's Next

Dash has not announced retail expansion beyond its direct-to-consumer channel and Amazon at launch, nor provided guidance on additional cordless SKUs. The uniform $79.99 price point positions the line above entry-level corded competition but below premium cordless offerings from brands such as Ninja and KitchenAid. Whether the brand can sustain that mid-market position as larger appliance makers develop competing cross-compatible battery platforms will be a key indicator of the collection's long-term shelf velocity.
