Industrie De Nora S.p.A., an Italian multinational listed on Euronext Milan, has completed its acquisition of BW Water Pte. Ltd., a global water treatment solutions provider. The transaction closed on July 1, 2026, following announcement on May 26, with an initial consideration of $60.8 million USD.

Strategic Rationale The deal positions De Nora to address global water scarcity and security challenges through an integrated platform combining its electrochemical technology with BW Water's engineering and system integration capabilities. De Nora CEO Paolo Dellachà stated: "The completion of the BW Water acquisition represents a key milestone in executing our strategy in the water treatment segment, while accelerating the Group's growth trajectory. Market Access and Synergies The acquisition opens access to high-growth sectors including semiconductors, mining, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and desalination. De Nora expects to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia and develop cross-selling opportunities requiring end-to-end turnkey solutions. Final consideration and enterprise value will be determined in the third quarter following adjustments tied to closing-date financial statements. The enterprise value will not exceed $66.5 million USD.
