Elis, the Paris-listed workwear and textile-services group, has agreed to acquire RS10, a Spanish linen and uniform-rental operator, in a transaction that deepens the company's presence in the Iberian Peninsula's food-service and hospitality supply chain, the company announced Monday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in the initial announcement. RS10 provides laundry and textile-rental services to hotels, restaurants, and catering operators across Spain — a segment that feeds directly into the broader food and beverage industry's back-of-house logistics. Elis did not provide revenue or earnings figures for the acquired business at the time of publication.
The acquisition arrives as Spain's hospitality sector registers a sustained post-pandemic recovery. International tourist arrivals to Spain reached record levels in 2025, driving heightened demand for outsourced linen and workwear services from restaurant groups, contract caterers, and hotel food-and-beverage operations. Consolidation among textile-service providers has accelerated across Southern Europe as operators seek scale to absorb rising energy and labour costs.
For Elis, Spain already represents a meaningful revenue geography following earlier bolt-on deals in the region. Adding RS10 is consistent with the group's stated strategy of pursuing tuck-in acquisitions in markets where it maintains an existing operational platform, allowing the company to extract cost synergies through shared logistics and laundry infrastructure. The food-service vertical — supplying chef whites, table linen, and kitchen textiles — has been a growth driver for textile-rental groups across the continent.
Elis did not issue revised full-year financial guidance in connection with the announcement. The company is expected to provide further integration details, including anticipated synergy targets and a closing timeline, when it next reports to investors. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals in Spain.
