Organic Pasta Brand Eyes West Coast Growth

Felicia, a plant-based pasta brand from parent company Andriani North America, has secured shelf space across 57 Costco locations spanning the West Coast and Southwest, marking a significant retail expansion for the emerging category player.

The Organic Red Lentil Penne will be available in California (16 stores), Arizona (18 stores), Colorado (15 stores), Nevada (4 stores), New Mexico (3 stores), and Utah (1 store).

What Sets It Apart

The product is made from a single ingredient—organic red lentil flour—positioning it in the growing functional pasta segment. Each 3.5 oz serving delivers 26g protein and 12g fiber, and the product is naturally gluten-free.

"We're seeing growing demand for pantry staples that combine simplicity, functionality and strong nutritional value," said Carlo Stocco, managing director of Andriani North America. "Our Red Lentil Penne is made from just one ingredient — organic red lentils — and naturally delivers protein and fiber in a format consumers already know and love. Expanding into Costco across the West Coast and Southwest allows us to bring those nutrient-dense, better-for-you options to even more shoppers."

Felicia is also available through Amazon and other retail channels.

Why It Matters

The Costco placement reflects retail confidence in the alternative protein pasta segment, which has accelerated as consumers shift toward higher-protein, lower-carb options. For operators and retailers, the 57-store rollout signals sustained demand for transparent, functional ingredients—a category that continues to attract both mainstream and specialty channels.
