The Program

Hershey's Chocolate World, the direct-to-consumer experiential arm of The Hershey Company, will launch its 2026 holiday activation on November 13, running through January 3 at its flagship Hershey, Pa., location. The seasonal push extends to the Times Square, New York City store for select beverage offerings, marking the attraction's annual effort to convert holiday foot traffic into incremental food, beverage, and merchandise revenue.

The culinary centerpiece is a limited-time menu built around brand extensions from Hershey's core confectionery portfolio. New dessert SKUs include a Hershey's Almond Cluster Big Cookie and a Hershey's Kisses Strawberry Sugar Cookie Cheesecake, both exclusive to the Pennsylvania flagship. The beverage program spans milkshakes — a Hershey's Kisses Snickerdoodle Milkshake and a York Peppermint Pattie Milkshake available at both Pennsylvania and Times Square locations — alongside four seasonal variants of the attraction's signature Melted Hot Chocolate format, incorporating new Hershey's Affogato and Salted Caramel Creme Filled Bar SKUs. For guests 21 and older, a cocktail menu includes The Milton, a salted caramel vodka and coffee liqueur drink tied to the upcoming Hershey biographical film.

The Milton Hershey Tie-In

The attraction is leaning into a forthcoming Milton Hershey theatrical release as a merchandising catalyst. A limited-edition Milton Hershey Movie Bear will be available exclusively at Chocolate World while supplies last. The Hershey's Chocolate House — a seasonal candy-decorated installation benefiting the Children's Miracle Network — returns with a Milton Hershey-themed execution. The attraction is also introducing Milton Hershey's Caramels, described as inspired by the founder's original 1894 recipe, available in 12-ounce pouches. The tie-in strategy reflects a broader industry pattern of food-and-beverage operators using intellectual property moments to extend product lines and drive experiential retail traffic during the high-velocity Q4 gifting window.

Operational Scope

Character meet-and-greets and Santa photo sessions run November 13 through December 24. A family-oriented New Year's Eve celebration is scheduled December 31 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering hourly countdowns. The Amazing Candy Machine, a customizable candy gifting station, will receive a festive refresh for November and December with holiday-themed packaging options — a format that supports both in-store spend and gifting-occasion purchases. The broader Hershey's Chocolate World network spans Hershey, Pa., Times Square, Las Vegas, Niagara Falls, and Singapore, though the full holiday program is concentrated at the Pennsylvania flagship.

"At Hershey's Chocolate World, we love giving families a place to celebrate traditions, discover something new and create memories that last long after the season ends," said Suzanne Jones, Vice President at The Hershey Experience.

For foodservice and specialty retail operators tracking experiential commerce models, Hershey's Chocolate World represents a case study in how legacy confectionery brands are converting attraction venues into high-margin food-and-beverage channels. The holiday season, which historically accounts for a disproportionate share of chocolate and confectionery category volume, gives The Hershey Company a direct-to-consumer proving ground for limited-edition SKUs before any potential broader retail distribution decisions.
