The Product
Kika Nutrition has officially launched its all-in-one daily nutritional powder, entering a U.S. dietary supplement market where nearly 36% of children and teens already use supplements — and where parents must navigate more than 80,000 products to build a functional routine. The New York-based brand is positioning a single-scoop format as the consolidation play that crowded category lacks.
Each full serving delivers 15 grams of plant-based protein, a complete multivitamin and multimineral blend, probiotics, fiber, and more than 10 organic fruits and vegetables, with no added sugar. The powder is flavorless and heat-stable, meaning it can be stirred into yogurt, blended into smoothies, or baked into pancakes and muffins without altering taste — a formulation decision designed to reduce friction for parents dealing with selective eaters. The product carries age-appropriate serving recommendations and is cleared for children ages 2 and up.
The formula was developed over five years and 52 iterations in collaboration with Dr. Gabrielle Francis, a naturopathic doctor and functional medicine practitioner, along with a broader team of nutrition experts. It is manufactured in California using food-grade ingredients, undergoes third-party testing for heavy metals and pesticides, and uses functional dosing rather than token amounts of active ingredients.
Founder and Origin
Kika Nutrition was founded by Khirma Eliazov, a serial entrepreneur whose previous ventures include Khirma New York, a luxury handbag label stocked by Bergdorf Goodman and Harvey Nichols in more than 50 retail doors globally. Eliazov's pivot to nutrition is rooted in her own health history: after struggling with infertility and undergoing IVF, she worked with Dr. Francis, who identified nutritional deficiencies and prescribed a nutrient-dense daily shake protocol. Eliazov credits that regimen with improving her overall health; she later became pregnant with her daughter, Kenza — the inspiration for the brand's name.
"Parents are already doing so much, and nutrition shouldn't feel like another full-time job," said Eliazov, Founder and CEO of Kika Nutrition. "I wanted to make it easier for families to get meaningful nutrition every day, without managing multiple supplements or convincing kids to take something they don't like."
Dr. Francis, who co-formulated the product, described the brief as practical consolidation. "By combining key nutrients that support digestive health, immune function, and overall wellness, we're helping parents build a stronger nutritional foundation without adding complexity to their lives," she said.
Distribution Roadmap
The brand has already built initial traction through founder-led direct-to-consumer sales and practitioner partnerships, including planned availability on Fullscript, a practitioner dispensary network. The formal launch marks the start of a structured retail buildout. Kika is targeting a network of 150 practitioners and placement in 30 retail locations by the end of 2027, ahead of a broader nationwide expansion in 2028. An Amazon launch and independent retail rollout are planned for the first half of 2027.
Beyond the powder, the company is extending into functional food formats. Kika Bites, a ready-to-eat snack embedding the same nutritional profile, is slated for a 2027 debut targeting retail shelves, private school channels, and youth sporting events — a distribution model aimed squarely at the occasions where family nutrition decisions are made outside the home. Partnership activations with lululemon, Pvolve, Nordstrom, and Ladies Playbook are also in the pipeline, positioning the brand within the premium wellness and active-lifestyle retail corridors where the family nutrition consumer increasingly shops.
The launch reflects a wider trend in functional food and beverage toward format convergence — brands that began in supplements moving into snacks and meal components to capture more daily eating occasions. For operators and specialty retail buyers, Kika's trajectory mirrors the playbook used by similar better-for-you brands that built practitioner credibility before pursuing shelf placement at scale.
