The Product Launch

Peerspace, the hourly-venue marketplace backed by GV (Google Ventures) and Foundation Capital, is introducing a booking category that bundles venue, food, beverages, and service staff into a single upfront transaction — eliminating the multi-vendor coordination that has long characterised private-event planning. The All Inclusive Venues product went live on September 2 in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London.

The platform, which has processed more than $800 million in total booking value since its 2014 founding, expects to add over 1,000 All Inclusive Venue listings within months. Chicago and Atlanta are slated to join before year-end, followed by a second expansion wave covering Washington D.C., Miami, Toronto, Dallas, San Diego, and Seattle, with Austin, Denver, and Houston in a subsequent phase.

Why It Matters for F&B Operators

For restaurant and bar operators, the category opens a direct demand channel without ongoing platform fees. Hosts list for free and gain access to Peerspace's corporate and production clientele — a segment that skews toward higher per-head spend and repeat bookings. The platform also provides tooling that smaller independent operators rarely develop in-house: custom proposals, calendar synchronisation, and a performance metrics dashboard.

The economics of private dining and venue rental have come under pressure as event planners increasingly consolidate vendor relationships. By aggregating space, catering, and beverage service into a single checkout, Peerspace is competing directly with hotel banquet operations and dedicated event-venue companies that have long controlled bundled F&B contracts. Operators already on the platform — including bar concepts and multi-use hospitality venues in Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Chicago — describe meaningful incremental booking volume after listing.

"We wanted to take the guesswork out of party planning. No more juggling five vendors and not knowing what the night will ultimately cost," said Rony Chammas, Founder and Chief Growth Officer at Peerspace. "All Inclusive Venues allow guests to lock in their venue, food, drinks, and staff all in a single booking with clear upfront pricing."

Competitive Context

The move reflects a broader structural shift in the event-dining and private-hire segment, where operators are under growing pressure to improve revenue per square foot during off-peak hours. All Inclusive Venues essentially converts underutilised floor space into a yield-managed inventory item — a model familiar in hotel food-and-beverage management but relatively novel on peer-to-peer marketplace platforms.

The All Inclusive category also debuted as one of two new entrant classes in Peerspace's fourth annual Open Door Awards, which recognise more than 800 venues across 23 cities in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and France. The awards programme functions as a discoverability mechanism for listed operators, offering editorial exposure alongside the marketplace's organic search and booking-funnel traffic.

For foodservice and hospitality operators evaluating third-party distribution channels, the no-ongoing-fee structure reduces the cost of experimentation — though the platform does collect a transaction fee at the point of booking, consistent with marketplace norms.
