The Macau venue is the second physical outpost for the L'Officiel Coffee concept globally, following the debut location established under the fashion-media-to-hospitality brand extension strategy that AMTD and TGE have pursued across Asia and Europe. No revenue figures or capital expenditure for the fit-out were disclosed in Thursday's announcement.

The L'Officiel brand — historically associated with French luxury fashion media — has been repositioned by the AMTD-TGE consortium into a lifestyle hospitality platform that encompasses café, bar and retail formats. The Macau location fits a broader pattern of luxury-adjacent food-and-beverage operators seeking footholds in the territory's post-pandemic tourism rebound, as gaming and hospitality revenues in Macau have recovered sharply since 2023. The group has not provided a specific store-count target or same-store sales guidance for the L'Officiel Coffee network.
