The Launch

Yogurtland, the self-serve frozen yogurt chain operating more than 220 locations across the U.S. and internationally, is rolling out two limited-time flavors for the holiday season: Holiday Baking Championship Peppermint Brownie Bliss and Cookie Butter Made with Biscoff® Cookies. Both flavors are available at participating locations through December 31, while supplies last.

The peppermint brownie variety is tied to a co-branding arrangement with Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship, blending a brownie-based frozen yogurt with a peppermint finish. The cookie butter offering leans on the licensed Biscoff® brand, delivering warm cinnamon and brown sugar notes associated with the European speculoos cookie that has gained considerable traction across the U.S. foodservice and retail dessert segments in recent years.

Toppings and Timing

Two seasonal toppings accompany the flavor launch: Holiday Baking Buddies, a gingerbread-man-style confection, and Biscoff® Cookies. The pairing strategy — debuting flavors alongside matched toppings — is a recurring tactic in the frozen dessert category to lift average ticket size and drive customization, a core mechanic of the self-serve format.

Sam Kwon, Head of Project Services & eCommerce at Yogurtland, framed the release as an effort to deepen guest engagement during one of the chain's highest-traffic windows. "Winter is the perfect time to indulge in something joyful," Kwon said, "and our exclusive new frozen yogurts are a delicious twist on beloved flavors reminiscent of this time of year."

Industry Context

Limited-time offerings have become a critical lever for frozen dessert operators competing against fast-casual and quick-service chains that have increasingly encroached on the treat occasion. Seasonal SKUs with licensed ingredient branding — Biscoff® commands strong consumer recognition, and Food Network co-marketing adds media visibility — can extend dwell time and generate social sharing without requiring permanent menu infrastructure.

For Yogurtland, which marks its 20th year of operation in 2026 and maintains a catalog of more than 200 rotating handcrafted flavors, the holiday window represents a meaningful revenue concentration period. The chain's self-serve model means that topping attachment rates and visit frequency are primary levers for same-store sales growth, making seasonal flavor launches commercially significant beyond their marketing value.

Operators and franchise partners in the broader frozen and specialty dessert segment have broadly leaned into Q4 LTOs as a hedge against the category's seasonality headwinds — a trend also visible in recent product rollouts across the beverage and snack space.
