Women's health brand Perelel is entering more than 65 Bluestone Lane specialty-coffee locations nationwide under a year-long distribution agreement, marking the OB/GYN-founded company's first national café partnership and its most visible push into the foodservice channel.

The partnership launches September 10 with a limited-edition Pumpkin Chai collection — a smoothie and a coffee offering — spiked with Perelel's Triple-Support Protein. Two additional seasonal drops are scheduled through 2027, giving the brand a structured, recurring retail presence inside one of the faster-growing Australian-inspired café chains in the United States.

The Product

Perelel's Triple-Support Protein delivers 20 grams of plant-based protein, 3 grams of creatine monohydrate, and 5 grams of low-FODMAP prebiotic fiber per serving. The formula is supported by a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial — the benchmark standard in clinical nutrition research — which found statistically meaningful improvements in blood-sugar stability, cholesterol metabolism, memory support, and satiety over four weeks of daily use versus a placebo. That clinical backing is central to Perelel's positioning in a functional-nutrition segment that has faced sustained scrutiny over unsubstantiated claims.

"Our mission has always been to develop products rooted in science that fit seamlessly into women's everyday lives," said Victoria Thain Gioia, CEO and Co-Founder of Perelel. "Partnering with Bluestone Lane allows us to introduce our clinically studied Triple-Support Protein in a way that's both accessible and enjoyable, bringing evidence-backed nutrition into one of people's favorite daily rituals."

Foodservice as Distribution Strategy

For Bluestone Lane, the deal represents the chain's first foray into protein-enriched coffee beverages — a format that has gained significant traction across both quick-service and specialty-coffee operators as consumers increasingly seek functional benefits from their café orders. Andrew Stone, Chief Brand & Culture Officer of Bluestone Lane, framed the move as a direct response to customer demand: "Our first protein coffees are an exciting next step for us, bringing together the specialty coffee we're known for with functional ingredients our Locals are increasingly looking for."

The café channel offers Perelel a cost-efficient sampling and trial mechanism that direct-to-consumer brands typically cannot replicate at scale. Rather than relying solely on e-commerce or traditional grocery placement, embedding the product into a daily coffee ritual lowers the barrier to first purchase and builds habitual consumption — a dynamic that has helped functional beverage brands from collagen creamers to adaptogenic lattes accelerate repeat rates. Perelel and Bluestone Lane plan to reinforce the launch with more than 30 in-café community events across the country during the fall season, extending the partnership's reach beyond the menu board.

The agreement lands as the broader women's health nutrition segment continues to attract retail and foodservice interest. Operators and grocers have moved aggressively to add SKUs targeting hormonal health, perimenopause, and fertility — categories that were largely underserved on physical shelves as recently as three years ago. Perelel, which the company describes as profitable with consistent year-over-year growth, is among a handful of brands that has expanded from a core supplement line into powder formats suitable for foodservice integration.
