Arkansas-based SANY Nutrition Group is entering the U.S. retail market with the national launch of its Beyond Resilience protein-indulgent snack platform, placing its first product — the Protein Crunch Bar — in Walmart stores nationwide and on its direct-to-consumer site. The family-owned manufacturer brings a production footprint capable of 500 million bars and bites annually to a high-protein snack segment that has drawn intense competition from both legacy nutrition brands and better-for-you startups.

The Product Lineup

The Protein Crunch Bar, a caramel-chocolate format combining a creamy chocolate coating, caramelized speculoos cream, and a high-protein crispy layer, delivers 15 grams of protein per two 40-gram servings. SANY is placing the bar in the bakery aisle rather than the conventional protein-bar set — a deliberate positioning choice designed to reach shoppers who may not self-identify as sports-nutrition consumers. A second product, Crunch Pops, arrives in October 2026: a savory, chip-style snack available in Chili & Lime, Caramelized Corn, and Nacho Cheddar, each 20-gram serving containing 16 grams of protein.

The broader pipeline is extensive. SANY has disclosed five additional Beyond Resilience formats: Prookies (soft cookie-style bites, 15 grams of protein per serving, in four flavors); Giant Clusters (caramel-chocolate protein clusters, 15 grams of protein per serving); Brittles (bite-sized on-the-go snacks, 7 grams of protein per serving); Fro-Bite (real frozen fruit coated in sugar-free protein chocolate, 4 to 6 grams of protein per serving); and Vitamin Splash (freeze-dried fruit in protein chocolate with 20 milligrams of added vitamin C per serving, 4 to 6 grams of protein per serving).

Manufacturing Scale and Strategy

SANY's Jonesboro facility underpins the launch with what the company describes as European-American process technology. The site was built with additional land reserved for future capacity expansion, and the company's integrated model spans formulation, regulatory and labeling support, ingredient sourcing, quality assurance, warehousing, and distribution — positioning SANY to serve both its own consumer brands and private-label customers from a single platform. The company says it can move products from concept to shelf-ready in weeks.

Beyond Resilience follows commercial launches in Europe and the Middle East, making the Walmart listing SANY's first foray into U.S. retail. The broader SANY platform also addresses bakery and pastries, better-for-you and high-performance nutrition, comfort snacking, and frozen and freeze-dried categories, with stated ambitions to extend the infrastructure into B2B food ingredients and functional pet snacks.

Why It Matters for the Trade

The U.S. protein snack category has expanded rapidly as consumers blur the line between indulgence and functional nutrition — a trend that has benefited formats such as protein bars and high-protein confectionery. SANY's bakery-aisle placement at Walmart signals an attempt to sidestep direct shelf competition with entrenched players such as Quest, RXBar, and Clif while targeting impulse and treat-occasion purchasing behavior. The 500 million-unit annual capacity figure suggests the company is positioning for contract or co-manufacturing revenue alongside its own brand, a dual-track model increasingly common among emerging snack manufacturers seeking scale.

"We are building SANY and Beyond Resilience for generations," said Angela Pernsteiner, founder and investor of SANY Nutrition Group. "Walmart and our online launch give consumers their first opportunity to experience what we have built, but this is only the beginning."
